Presented by Kathy Meadowlark Dawe and Breighton Dawe
The Dance of Life is an ancient Medicine dance, originating from the Eastern Cherokee Medicine people. Channeled and reclaimed for the people by Dhyani Ywahoo Cherokee tribe member, this simple movement combines breathing, creative visualization, and gentle arm and leg movements similar to T’ai Chi.
The Dance of Life is a grounding, centering and balancing dance of gratitude.
- A meditation with movement.
- Done at ones own pace and movement level.
- The creative visualizations are easily adaptable to any path or spiritual doctrine.
- Creates connection between oneself, the earth, and the directions.
- Inspiring and freeing, it is certain to become part of your inspirational ceremonies.
Specific dance ability or experience with T’ai Chi is not necessary. We have even taught this moving meditation to those in wheel chairs.
Please dress “weather appropriate” because the workshop will be outside if it isn’t raining. Bring a snack or bag lunch, a light refreshment will be provided.
